KELVIN ADAIR FREEBorn in Edmonton, I won 4th place out of all grade one students in the city for a painting submitted to the Edmonton Exhibition. I have worked on art ever since then. I graduated from the Art School at the University of Manitoba in 1976. I have had numerous shows, and in 2003 won best artist from over 70 artists in a national show at Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The show was called Mindscapes I, and artists from every province and territory were represented there. In 2004, one of my works was exhibited at the Ottawa National Gallery in the Mindscapes II exhibition. In 2005, I won Artist of distinction, top honours, at the Abilities Festival in Toronto. The show, Connections II, was international in scope with artists from countries all over the world. Due to a hidden disability, I have been unable to work in the regular workforce and hence am on welfare to sustain myself. This has meant living in poverty with making it as an artist my only possibility of becoming self-supporting. I work hard on my art and find that my art is inspiring to myself as well as other people. I am dedicated to my art. While under no obligation to pursue a career in art, I nevertheless have a work ethic and pursue it with a passion. Contact: 204.772.8495 SOME HERBAL REMEDIES FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
