TESS CARLOS

Tess was an art instructor in the Philippines. As a missionary, she worked with young people in Chile. She immigrated to Canada in 1980 and worked for a grain company in Winnipeg for 20 years. When she retired in 2000, she started to create greeting cards which she distributed to former colleagues in the company. Once she acquired the confidence she needed to create, she went back to painting in watercolour and other media. To challenge herself further, she painted bigger compositions in oil. She also accepted commissions for friends and relatives.
